Newbie data interpretation
Hey all,

I've been trying a CPAP for the first time to see if I can improve my sleep quality. After tweaking settings and the mask fit, last night seemed to go OK (see attached OSCAR data).

To try to reduce my AHI, tonight I'm going to try these changes (as recommended by other posts):

    EPR = off
    Ramp = off

After that, I think I'll also try:

    Mode = CPAP (instead of APAP)

Are there any other changes that y'all would recommend?

Thanks!

RE: Newbie data interpretation
Welcome

Turning off ramp is always a good idea, as you get no real therapy during ramp.  I don't see any advantage to going to Cpap mode though.  Unless pressure changes wake a person up, most of us do better using a range of pressure. I suggest you set your range at 8-15.  I think you would find that more comfortable, and the range is a bit smaller.  You only have a few CAs, so I think you should leave EPR 3 alone.  You could maybe drop your AHI slightly that way, but flow limits are like small apneas and you want to keep them low.  The AHI is not the only thing to consider. Overall better sleep is the key.
