O2 Insight Files to Oscar
Hi there. I am new to cpap and new to Oscar. I am old and not necessarily good with computer stuff, so please be patient!
I am trying to import data from my Wellue O2 ring into Oscar. I eventually found the path to get into the O2 Insight downloaded files on my Windows 11 computer after realising that I had to get it to show hidden files first - but when I try to import the files into Oscar, I cannot find how to access the hidden files on there. Please can anyone help?
Chris.
RE: O2 Insight Files to Oscar
Further to my previous question which nobody responded to.......... I eventually found a way to get round my problem by copying the O2 Insight files to a folder on my desktop. I am then able to add them to Oscar. It is a bit of a pain though, as I have to do this every day.
Does anybody know if there is a simple way to change the location into which O2 Insight puts the files?
Thank you.
RE: O2 Insight Files to Oscar
I must have missed your post. From where are you getting your Wellue data files from, iPhone, Android, computer?
Edit: I see you listed O2InsightPro, so you are on a computer. I still need to know what O/S you are using, macOS or Windows?

RE: O2 Insight Files to Oscar
Hey Chris, if you're on Windows, here's what I do: In the O2 Insight Pro software click Options and look for Data Location at the bottom of the popup. Left click and hold to highlight, Right click to copy. Go into Oscar, click “Data” at the top left, click Import Viatom/Wellview Data, paste into File Name at the bottom of popup. Click Open. Double Click the file that comes up. Go to the date you need. It appears as yearmonthdaytime. Example: 20241024201721 which is the year (2024), month (10), day (24), and your starting time of 20:17:21. Look at the Start time in Oscar and rename the file to sync the starting time of the pulseox to the Start time of Oscar. If they don’t sync exactly, you can delete the pulseox data by going into Data/Advanced/Purge Oximetry Data/Current Days. It will remove the current day’s data and you can change the time again to more closely match what it needs to be to sync it exactly. You can do it more than once if you need to tweak it a bit. Hope this helps.

RE: O2 Insight Files to Oscar
Thank you very much katbrat for your reply,
When I originally tried to do this (in pretty much the way you have suggested), it just was not letting me get into those files - but now, it seems as if it does! I am not certain if it is connected to the fact that my O2Ring subsequently went wrong and had to be replaced by the manufactures, but now I have the new one and seem to be able to access the files okay. Am not at all sure if the problem was with the old ring or if I was doing something stupid - but either way, the problem does seem to be sorted now.
Thanks to everyone who responded for your help.
