OSCAR Oximetry Preferences - Pulse Change Events - How Re-apply to Existing Data?
#1
Question
OSCAR Oximetry Preferences - Pulse Change Events - How Re-apply to Existing Data?
When I change these OSCAR Preferences, the number of events on existing charts does not change. So I guess such Preference changes do not affect the daily charts retrospectively. Is that the case, and if so, what is the best workaround? I can only imagine (somehow) emptying out OSCAR and reloading all the existing data from scratch.

RE: OSCAR Oximetry Preferences - Pulse Change Events - How Re-apply to Existing Data?
The oximeter parameter options in the Preferences section were added during the development of SleepyHead. Unfortunately, they were never linked to any function in the code. This is on the OSCAR team's "To-Do" list.

RE: OSCAR Oximetry Preferences - Pulse Change Events - How Re-apply to Existing Data?
Ok, thanks.
My guessed hack-y workaround worked...
("emptying out OSCAR and reloading all the existing data from scratch")

* In OSCAR_Data > Profiles > aTestProfile, I opened an existing binary data file (from an O2Ring)
* I saw the results in Daily.
* Then I closed OSCAR...
* ...and deleted all files in Events and Summaries, also the "gz" file
* Then re-opened OSCAR - which (as expected) no longer showed any data under that (test) profile
* Then I imported the same data file as before

Handy for experimenting with Preferences > Oximetry settings
(given that they don't apply retrospectively in this OSCAR version)
