OSCAR for old computers
Could you please build versions for 32 bit Windows XP and Linux. There are still plenty of us users of old computers.

RE: OSCAR for old computers
I believe there is a Linux version of OSCAR.
Windows XP isn't just old, it's ancient. I think all software developers have abandoned it.

There is a Windows 32-bit version of OSCAR. Whether it will run on an XP system is doubtful. I believe that the current Qt version (5.15.2) to build OSCAR for Linux no longer supports a 32-bit system.

Nobody's targeting Windows XP; you would have some luck with the Linux version though

RE: OSCAR for old computers
You could try running it in XP compatibility mode.
I run some very old film scanning s/w this way and it works well.

For the linux deb file, for Ubuntu, there is no more 32 bit version.
Maybe, Debian can have a 32 bit version. Is it worth to make 32 bit version of Debian 10,11 & 12 ? I can plan to do the modifications if needed.

RE: OSCAR for old computers
The "XP" request is the first one in years. With the low cost of a Chrome Notebook that can support OSCAR, I don't see a need to augment our current distribution selections. I wonder how many (or few) downloads of the Windows 32-bit version are actually being used.
