RE: OSCAR v1.5.0 released
The release notes above are a little different from rc2
https://www.apneaboard.com/forums/Thread...Prisma+1.5
For example, I thought we now support the Loewenstein Prisma, which is popular in Europe?

There was some uncertainty about which Prisma models so it is limited support. That line was later removed from the changes for that reason. As we get updated info we will post it. Prisma users should report any issues in the Software Support Forum along with which model they use.
RE: OSCAR v1.5.0 released
"Check for update" is not showing it, so just download and install over the top?
Thanks!

RE: OSCAR v1.5.0 released
Microsoft Defender prevents download with the warning: OSCAR 1.5.0 isn't commonly downloaded. Make sure you trust.....
Then after overriding the warning, Windows balked at starting the installation with similar warnings.
Has anyone else seen this behavior from Microsoft in connection with OSCAR downloads?

RE: OSCAR v1.5.0 released
Had to force it to install as a non-trusted .exe
The install went well but something happened to the screen setup....
RE: OSCAR v1.5.0 released
yeah, I saw all that. I just overrid the warning.
RE: OSCAR v1.5.0 released
Does your screen look the same as before?
RE: OSCAR v1.5.0 released
Kinda disappointed the mac version is still Intel only. Is it really that hard to compile a Apple Silicon version and make a universal binary?

That's why it's recommended to first read the installation instructions which are linked to on the official download page. I'm kind of the same way (usually don't bother reading instructions on software installs), but in this case, it's actually helpful.
That link to the instructions (which explains these warnings and how to deal with them) leads to the appropriate instructions for your operating system, ie- Windows:

This happens with just about every release. As an FYI, after a few hundred successful downloads of OSCAR 1.5 and a bit of time has passed, that warning usually goes away since MS Defender (and other similar programs) figure that enough people have downloaded it -- at least enough that it should be considered "safe". But during the first several downloads, some folks will see those types of warnings.
