Oscar App - Unresponsive

Oscar App - Unresponsive
(sorry if this in the wrong forum)

Oscar app is unresponsive after loading last night's data.

1. Data seemingly loaded without issue
2. Clicking "View Daily" does nothing, no other options functional
3. Closed & restarted the app - same result
4. Rebooted Windows - same result
3. Uninstalled & re-installed Oscar - same result
4. Deleted all Oscar-related data/folders, uninstalled/reinstalled Oscar, reloaded data - same result

Anyone see similar issues with Oscar?

Not sure how to proceed from here.

Suggestions or pointers?

RE: Oscar App - Unresponsive
Solution (hoping) -

I installed Oscar on a different computer without issue or complaint...so, probably not an application or update issue.  This lead me to suspect some level of corruption on the original laptop.  As I had fully uninstalled and deleted all Data and Config folders without improvement, I suspected a lingering registry issue was the cause.

I searched thru the registry w regedit and deleted all the keys/subkeys mentioning "Oscar".  A few keys/entries were blocked from deletion, and a few related to History, which I left alone.  Usually it is not advisable to delete registry entries, "Oscar" was a unique term which did not present any ambiguity identifying and deleting.  Its amazing how many registry keys are left behind even after an app and its data are fully and formally uninstalled.

A fresh app install, reloaded 13 months of data, and all is good again!  I am presented with the "Welcome" screen as normal (I did not see this before clearing out the registry).  Nice.

Same issue here, on latest build (1.5.3), Windows 10. My profile shows up in the list and I can access preferences, but statistics tab is greyed out, view daily/etc nonresponsive, "open profile" button does nothing, as does edit and new profile. Any ideas other than manually hunting down registry keys?

Do you have the OSCAR_Data folder located on your computer? It sounds like it is on a cloud drive.

In my case, OSCAR_DATA is just a local C drive folder.

Start OSCAR, got to Help > About OSCAR, and click on the "Show data folder". Is the location it is displaying the same as where it physically is?

Yes, it shows the directory where the data is. This has been working for years, it only recently started becoming nonresponsive.

OK, your profile could have become corrupted. Try creating a new profile and see if that corrects your problem.

Turns out it was not the profile. I followed the earlier suggestion here; uninstalled OSCAR and deleted every trace of it from the registry; rebooted; reinstalled OSCAR; and now it works fine with the same profile.
