Hi Pablo1985! -
Contec CMS-50 oximeters use a USB cable to both charge and for data transfer. It is supplied when you purchase one. Make sure you get an E, F, or I model. - Red

I have this exact model. I've seen a lot of posts on here in regards to Oximeters. I got the impression that some interact with CPAP machines. Are they all as simple as the one I have? I've never owned one before and I obviously don't know a whole lot about them.

RE: Oximeters for CPAP
First, Contec makes at least 2 D models. The recording version is the D Plus. Based on user posts here, you have to jump through some hoops to get it to download its data. Evidently, when Contec designed the firmware code for that model, no one had heard the phrase, "User Friendly". That is why I don't recommend it.
Contec updated their firmware after the OSCAR oximeter direct import code was written. The new Contec version requires that you import the binary file only. One other thing is all software for Contec oximeters is for Windows only. So, if you are using another O/S then you are out of luck. - Red

RE: Oximeters for CPAP
I saw that model after my previous post. Thinking "BT" meant that it has Bluetooth, then I saw Contec's description.
Quote:Fingertip Pulse Oximeter USB version CMS50D-BT without BT function SPO2 Monitor Blood Oxygen 24Hours Record Then why not call it CMS50D-NoBT? I honestly don't know what to think. - Red

RE: Oximeters for CPAP
Im thinking about buying the CMS50F. You wear it on the wrist and the sensor of SO2 is in the tip of the finger. It seems very confortable to use it over the night. Does it work well with OSCAR?

RE: Oximeters for CPAP
I've used the model F in the past and I thought I had integrated the data into OSCAR. It's been several years, and I'm thinking I've deleted the attachments that might have shown it.
