You might not have the frowny face. But you sure have leaks! If you have a mask leak, you will hear it if you trace the mask with one finger. You are more likely to have a mouth leak, though. That would give you a dry mouth. I would definitely attend to it.

Glad your therapy is helping you.

You are right, HalfAsleep. Mask leaks bug the crap out of me and wake me up, but for some reason that mouth leak doesn't wake me up. Thanks for your help.

Thank you Deborah! So, regarding those screenshots. In your opinion, if I could tolerate waking with the occasional dry mouth and such, am I still getting the appropriate therapy? I don't want to make a mountain out of a molehill.

I don't know.  Your leaks are not terrible like mine were.  Your therapy is probably being affected, but not terribly.

If you want to try a really soft, comfortable tape you could try the first tape I used, which I loved but eventually had to admit that I was still leaking way worse than you are, so I had to buy something that stuck a lot better.  Here's a link to that tape I loved:

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08BJG...=UTF8&th=1

If you are interested in trying it, this is a shorter roll so you won't have to spend more than necessary if you don't like it.

My husband uses and likes this tape.  He doesn't leak as much as me, so it works for him.

With or without tape there's no reason to wake with a dry mouth.  I have used Xylimelts for years.  These are great at helping you produce adequate saliva while asleep.  You can buy these in small packages at Walmart, but I buy them by the bottle from Amazon.  My husband used something else for years but just switched to the Xylimelts and he loves them too. Best of luck with whatever you decide! Smile

Here's another thought.  Have you considered using nasal pillows or the Bleep system?  I used pillows and liked the P30i the best, but now I use Bleep and love it.  These both leak less than full-face or nasal masks, with Bleep leaking the least.

DeborahK, I have used that dreamwear nasal deal with the slit, not pillows, my activa lt does not leak at all and is pretty forgiving, but I can't keep my big mouth shut. I am in the process of shaving and cutting certain areas of my beard to try to allow this full face mask to work. So far my wife says it looks good but time will tell. Thanks for all you assistance
