Although normally a nose mask user, due to a bit of a cold, I was forced to use my FFM for the first time. This is the F&P Evora FFM.
In principal I like it, fit's well, zero leaks, decent sleep even as side sleeper.........but!
I notice annoying leak sound at the crappy swivel construction when connected to my standard Resmed 19 mm heated hose. Is this normal behavior or do I need to contact the supplier? To be clear, a whole range of other masks do not have this issue, it is not my hose (Resmed Mirage FX, N30i, P10, N20, Philips Respironics, .....).
Considering "sending back" (not possible due to hygiene, but maybe money back) or gluing that crappy swivel construction.

Found in another thread the swivel leak is a known issue. The hissing is pretty bad, I will fix this myself. I recognize the other struggles in this thread, thanks for all the tips.

interesting comment. I have profound hearing loss.
I can wear the Evora Full ffm for several days and everything is fine. Then next day my AHI goes way beyond 5...
My daily mask is my ResMed N20 now.
My daily head gear is my Knightsbridge Dual Band cap. I wear it over my N20; my mask marks look like deep brands and last about 6 hours...I've tried an N20 L with large headgear over my Knighsbridge cap. That experiment cost over $325 Canadian, and leaked like you know what....

In my recent attempt at gaining therapy that would work well with complex Apnea and COPD, I have used the Fisher and Paykel Evora Full hybrid. It was very comfortable, quiet, easy to adjust to leak minimally. I would recommend others to try it, and give it 5 stars.
I used a hose holder to take the weight off the hose.

I appreciate all your posts.
I really lke the mask. However, it bothers me when I have a bad night. I lose faith. I would recommend the mask too, once a person gets a good fit with the head gear.

FYI headgear is supposed to have standard and large sizes. I was using standard gear and S/M cushion.
