Reaching CPAP mode in your therapy the goal?

Reaching CPAP mode in your therapy the goal?
Quote:On my sixth year, I'm nearly 50 but nearly died because of my untreated OSA (since my early 20s is my guess). I used DMEs/sleep docs/Insurance for the first year but I realized they were lazy and weren't even setting my machine up to my %90, let alone checking daily to adjust settings as needed, this was on APAP set to 5cm min 20cm max with c-flex at 2 and ramp enabled.

It's a long story but I learned to self-titrate, dialed in the apap titration, then tried autobipap, and finally straight cpap mode, cpap mode has been amazing for me. I found my best pressure to be 15.5cmh2O CPAP mode with c-flex on 2 (don't use ramp ever).

My ahi averages just under 1 and I sleep very well now and haven't died. Wink
Learn to read and understand Oscar please, we can help you, there are good tutorials on youtube.

Here's a night with cpap using Oscar data from my machine:

Every individual will define success according to what works best for them. There is a wide variation in what that looks like, and the highlighted sentence above that includes the words "for me" is the operative condition.
