I just upgraded from a SleepU to a Check Me Max.  It has an on/off button which is convenient to stop a recording session and start a new one (like when you are falling asleep and start your PAP).  It records data every 2 seconds instead of 4, so my assumption would be it is more accurate.  It has a longer lasting battery capacity of 72 hours.  I can only speak to these two devices, but I like them both.  The Check Me Max is worth a small increase in price.

Of course.  I will try to do that tonight.  I would be interested in knowing that as well.  Before purchasing, I contacted Viatom, the manufacturer, to make sure I ordered the correct CheckMeO2.  They responded immediately with a chart describing the different features of the CheckMeO2 vs the CheckMeO2Max.  I can post that here if it is not against the rules.  The chart clearly states the CheckMeO2 captures data every 4 seconds and CheckMeO2Max captures data every 2 seconds.  

I did not mention this, but the Max also has both vibrating and audible alarms for both low spO2 and for a low HR, which is a nice feature.  My HR has been dropping during the night and it prompted me to make an appointment with a cardiologist next week.       

My personal preference is for the wrist design.  I need to check O2 during the days as well, and the ring seems like it could be awkward during the day.  I have not tried the ring but am happy with the model I have.

Does the CheckMeO2Max by chance have the capability to connect to a PC via USB? I do see mention of BT to a phone, but nothing obvious about a computer connection.  I presently have a Wellue O2Ring which I connect up to my PC every morning to pull up the nights data and then let it charge for the day. Real convenient this way and I can do some quick compares between my Fitbit watch sleep record and DS2 on DreamMapper.

ItsComplicated - I got your data.  Thank you for supplying a copy.  Unfortunately, it shows each observation within the file is every 4-seconds.  I have a spreadsheet, although not too pretty, of the file's header information broken down.  Since this is your data, I am reluctant to display it here without your permission.

I do not have a problem with you posting the data.  I am disappointed about the 4 sec. record time.  If I remember correctly, the file I sent you was the night my HR dropped way too low for most of the night.  Thanks for your assistance.
