Recommendation for new Bipap machine
Hi Everybody,
If you have read my last post here you know I have a oxymed bipap machine at home.
It's being used for little over an year now. One year warranty is over. My patient is complaining that machine is not delivering air as it used to. Volume of air is less somehow.
All things considered now I am planning to buy a new bipap machine. I'm not falling for YouTube adds this time! I think it's better to ask the community here. Those who are using it, know it better, right?
Going through this forum, Resmed looks like a good choice. Machine will be used indoors at night for bipap ( 18/6). I'm hoping Resmed to last longer and not break. Plus the software support is good to have.
So please suggest me dependable model for bipap in your opinion. Or any other BiPap Machine I should consider.
Thank you.

This is my opinion only. I don't know what brands are available in your area, so this is a global response. I would rate Resmed as #1, followed by Lowenstein/Prisma.

RE: Recommendation for new Bipap machine
Are there any Resmed model/series you can recommend for bipap? I'm based in India. I don't mind ordering the machine from anywhere.

I believe they may be under another name than the model name they use in the U.S. In North America, it is the AirCurve VAuto. It's less expensive (not by much) static pressure version is the AirCurve "S". Do not confuse the "S" with the ST or ST-A models. The last 2 are completely different animals that are designed for COPD treatment.

The best is the ResMed AirCurve 10 Vauto. My husband and I both use and love ours.
