ResScan Tip

ResScan Tip
I found that I could store pdf documents in my ResScan folder under my patient name and they would appear in the report list within ResScan. This allows me to keep a copy of my sleep study and progress reports from my sleep doctor in a single place -- and backed up every time I backup ResScan. When I need the reports or prescriptions, I simply print them from within ResScan by clicking the appropriate report name.

The files were found in the C:\Users\Public\Documents\ResMed\ResScan3\Patients\{patient name] directory of my pc. Note: your directory storage location may be different. Making sure that the file name was unique and did not replace any current file, I simply copied the file into the directory and it appears in the report list. The format I used for the filename was sleepstudy2016-1-20. For other files, I use PhyNotes2016-00-00 or RX-2016-00-00.

Saves me from keeping separate files and trying to remember where I placed them. You can even encrypt the pdf file for sensitive data.

Nice tip. thanks!
Using FlashAir W-03 SD card in machine. You can download your data through wifi with FlashPAP or Sleep Master utilities.

I wanted to learn Binary so I enrolled in Binary 101. I seemed to have missed the first four courses. Big Grinnie

Stick it to the man, Download OSCAR and take back control of your data!

Thanks Ian. Like I didn't have enough Honey-Do projects to tackle. Mornincoffee
