Lost Trust in CheckmeMax O2 Watch

I had a follow-up visit with my pulmonary sleep medicine doctor.  We did one more overnight pulse-ox study with his medical-grade device with me on my BPAP and current 3L of O2 setting.  My Wellue device reported 29+ min under 90%.  Their device had a total of 4 min with a high of 45 sec under 88%.  This level of discrepancy makes the Wellue device quite useless in my eyes. They obviously have a long way to go to reach reliability.  The doctor office device was a Nonin unit costing about a grand. 

For a very, very rough idea of where things stand, the Wellue has a little bit of merit, but it can also make you look like a fool too.  Tread carefully.

It can be out by up to 4% in absolute measurements. So shouldn't be considered a diagnostic appliance. However, it is very useful for monitoring trends or for some sudden change. In the event of either occurrence, one should then get proper medical diagnostic testing.
