Resmed S10 power problem

My S10 will not power up.  The power supply is ok.

When I plug the cable into that back of the s10 the green light will flicker on and off.
I can turn the plug and it will flicker for longer or shorter times as the plug gets pushed in and out.
I'm thinking it may be dirt inside the plug or socket or the little pin in the plug is damaged.

I've ordered a new power supply but I'm afraid that may show the same problem.

Is there a way of dismantling the socket on the back of the machine to clean it?

Anyone else had the same problem and found a solution.

I have to ask, where did you have your AS10 for it to get dirt in it?

Nowhere. if its not dirt then the part just failed I guess.
I've been guessing all along.
Bad electrical connections are usually due to dirt or mechanical failure.
I just don't want to be without my CPAP.
