Oscar-Notes Entry B4 Data

Oscar-Notes Entry B4 Data
I've recently started using Oscar - interesting software and info!

It appears user is unable to enter 'Notes' (under 'Daily' tab) for dates that do not yet have data downloaded.

I think it would be very helpful to be able to add notes daily about how I feel or what I did *before* and *without* downloading/importing CPAP data.

For example, every day entering notes for previous night but only importing/downloading data once a week.

The 'Zombie/Awesome' slider bar at the bottom would be nice to set without having downloaded data yet would also be great.

Am I missing something?  Or could this feature be added to wish list?

How often do most people actually download/import their data?

After five years, I'm lucky if I remember to download once a month.
And I've never been good at daily anything... But I can see that some people might want to record short notes each day... I'll keep it in mind for future enhancement. Journal records ought not to be tied to CPAP records.

You can enter notes for days for which data does not exist -- future or past dates are fine.

You need to display the calendar.  Click on the triangle to the left of the date, press F9, or View/Daily Calendar.

Click on the date you want to create the note for, then click on the Note tab and type away.

I download "occasionally" -- that can mean anything between daily and once a month or so.   Smile

Hi Chip,
I download daily.  With facial hair, I feel I need to monitor leaks frequently, if only to see when it is time to trim the beard.  Also, at the moment, I am in the early time of switching to a new Airsense 10, and I am monitoring that pretty closely.  Aside from all that, I keep a separate daily log file, with notes, and I find if I don't do that soon after I get up, the memory of how the night went will fade, so it works best to do the log asap.
