SD card not recognized by ResScan 6
Newbie here,
After inserting my ResMed Air 10 sd card (mounted in an usb mem card reader adapter) into my Win 7 computer, windows notifies that "the disk drive needs formatting". Neither ResScan 6 or 5.9 recognize the sd card "there are no devices available". But I have used my Air 10 unit for 5 nights prior. Anybody has any idea why this might be the case?. I know the usb adapter works fine with other cards in other programs.
Thank you.
Tony.

Hi FingerboardTony -
It sounds like your SD card format is corrupted. If you have another computer, or a friend has, with an SD reader, try to mount it first. If it's the same result as the first then you will need to either try formatting the card or obtain a new one. Also, I wouldn't hold out hope of your previous night's data surviving.
Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

Thank you Crimson Nape,
I've been getting the very limited daily reports from MyAir site, but I wanted to look more under the hood for more data.
I will try your suggestion. Do you think it would work if I I just try a brand new sd card into the Air Sense 10? , I mean, if it wont mess up any other functionality in the unit.
I appreciate your help.
Tony

No problem! When looking to purchase an SD card, any card 2Gb to 32Gb will work. Everyone that I've purchased always come formatted to FAT32, which is what you want. Just look for a reasonably priced card. No need to buy a Ferrari when a VW will do.

Right.
And by the way you were correct about my ResMed original sd card being defective. I replaced it with an old one from a cell phone, which after I inserted into the AirSense 10, it copied the data from the internal memory (I presume), and it worked nicely when I transferred the data to my computer to both ResScan and Sleepy Head. Now I need to do some more reading about what some of the result parameters mean........but it is interesting.
Thank you very much for your help!
