RE: Sea level vs 6200 feet
Update: One thing I did not mention earlier is that I was using two different Resmed 10 machines, set to the same settings, in my post above. One machine was used at sea level and one at 6200 feet. Since then I have decided to try the Resmed 10 that I have previously only used at sea level, at 6200 feet. With that machine (the "sea level" machine), at 6200 feet, the average tidal volume was 340 (instead of 180 with the original Resmed 10).
That same machine shows a tidal volume of 480 at sea level, but I think 340 is not too far off considering the altitude change.
My conclusion is that the first machine that I used at 6200 feet is defective in some way.
I'll include an image of what the second machine (the "sea level" machine) does at 6200 feet.
