Session time timestamps OSCAR

I just travelled to Japan for work a couple of times.

I didn't change anything in my machine and now Oscar thinks I was sleeping at odd hours - is there a way to change the file data to correct the session times for when I was in Japan?

It would need to subtract 16 hours from the start and finish times of each file/data point.

Green line is at home in AZ, time is correct
Red line is in Japan, time is AZ +16h
dashed red line is when I was still in Japan, but did "erase all data" in the machine settings (Resmed Aircurve), so presumably the machine synced with local time in Japan.

Unlike the A11 series that uses a timezone setting, the A10 series uses a settable time and date parameter. All models encode the time/date into the recorded data. To prevent altering of the data, a checksum file is also generated for each file. Even though you could change the time/date setting in the data file with the proper type of editor, the checksums would no longer match. This will invalidate the data from being accepted by ResScan or OSCAR.

The bottom-line is no, you can not modify the date/time after it is recorded.

Is "erase all data" the only way to change time zone? seems clunky

I found I can't go back in time as it would overwrite recorded data. I can't go forward either; moving the day forward then means I have to move the hours backward.

Only on the 11 series. You can set the time back on the 10 series, so long as there hasn't been data recorded for this time period. Otherwise, you will have to wipe the data. The time isn't as important as the hours of CPAP use. Regardless of the displayed time, your data will still usage time.
