RE: Should "new" ResMed AirSense 11 smell like lavender?
The Sarcastic One wants has a question. Will the ResMed 11 actually allow you to change Patient View? Maybe they voted and acted on the thought that you don't need to see more info, just mask up and pay for it.
Optional free chloroform mask liners for all.

Which I guess is a little clearer than 'Essentials' set to 'On' or 'Plus' ![Big Grin Big Grin](https://www.apneaboard.com/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
I definitely need to get me some clinician manuals to peruse.
RE: Should "new" ResMed AirSense 11 smell like lavender?
I’m glad to find this site! I have the Remed11 with Dreamware pillows and the stiffer hose.
The first night, when getting up in the night for “relief”, I took the mask off and smell a strong floral smell. The room was full of it. (Seriously thought I was visited by an angel!). I put the mask back on and in the morning I had the same experience. Second night I had same experience. When the mask comes off, I smell it for about 5 min.
I called supplier and they assured me my machine was brand new. Was instructed to turn it on and leave it on without the head gear to see if it will help. It’s running now. I’m going to give it a week and see what happens. Like others here, I’m not interested in sucking in VOC’s every night.
Thankfully I have an older model that works ok.
