RE: Sleep Study with Overactive Bladder??
A thought I had would be to abstain from fluid intake beginning around noon to try dehydration. You could try this at home to see if it shows any promise. Also, resist any intake a caffeine beverages because they act as a diuretic.
Good luck.
RE: Sleep Study with Overactive Bladder??
Oxybutynin is a reasonable treatment for bladder control - not perfect by any means but it does take the edge off the urge. There is another supposedly superior drug (whose name I can't recall) but it was something like $75 a course and not available on the PBS so I never tried it. Might be worth asking your doc for a script and see if it helps.

RE: Sleep Study with Overactive Bladder??
Hello.
Tell your doctor to give you 2-3 pills of desmopressin. Test it before the sleep study, sometimes people need to take it for 2 consecutive nights for the full effect. I guarantee on the second night you won't pee during the night not once.
It's super safe, it can be discontinued anytime and if you take it on the sleep study night, you wont pee at all. Oh and a reminder, if you are a salt avoiding person, do drink some salt with water for 2-3 days before taking desmo. We don't want you to have any seizures, hoho.
Cheers
