It wasn't a problem for me as I hated the chinstrap. I was just thinking that something had to better than this and the collar was the answer.

A few nights in now and its becoming normal and actually quite comfortable, have ordered the Releaf one too so will give it a try as well - highly recommend trying one to anyone hesitant.

RE: Soft Cervical Collar
let us know how the releaf works out for you. normal and comfortable is a moral victory. that's great. best I can say is my collar is tolerable, to be put up with it because I can't pap properly without one. meanwhile, my drug store variety collars have gotten smaller in height and softer after a few months use so I'll be looking for alternatives.

RE: Soft Cervical Collar
It's very hard to convince most people that sleep and therapy can improve when a soft cervical collar is needed. There is a high level of resistance to trying it, and it is like, "man, I got this stupid machine grabbing my face, and now you want me to put on a sweaty collar"? It's a tough argument to make, but everyone makes their own decision. The ones who try and get result, rarely regret it.
Thanks for your story, as it may help others.
