No a ResMed AirCurve VAUTO is a cpap and is not a specialized machine.  When you get a S or one that is set up for centrals are specialized.  The VAUTO will be covered by insurance if the Dr. writes a RX for it instead of just putting a cpap.
Apnea (80-100%) 10 seconds, Hypopnea (50-80%) 10 seconds, Flow Limits (0-50%) not timed  Cervical Collar - Dealing w DME - Chart Organizing

Slight correction.  The AirCurve S model is a static pressure Bi-level version of the VAuto.  The advanced (special purpose) machines are the ST, ST-A, and ASV.  The AirCurve series are more advanced than the AirSense series.
