Swift FX problem with pressure loss?
I've been using a Swift FX pillows mask for the last year or so and lately I have the feeling that something could be wrong or maybe wearing out... there is this constant "fffffft" jet of air that comes out of the area where the hose connects to the mask. I tried moving that joint around with the pressure on but there is no place I can find where this jet of air goes away. And it's enough of a hissing sound that sometimes I have a hard time falling asleep.
Is this normal? Or does this jet of air mean that the mask has a problem or is wearing out?
Every now and then I get admonished by the software that my leak rate is too high but I don't have the feeling I'm leaking at the pillows... though I guess during sleep, all bets are off I suppose.
Using the Resmed Airsense 10 machine.

Thanks!
RE: Swift FX problem with pressure loss?
I used Swift FX masks until 2012 when I switched to the Airfit P10. Do yourself a favor and replace it with the Airfit. Masks, headgear, hoses and cushions have a limited lifetime. Getting over a year is pretty impressive. You will be amazed at how quiet and comfortable the P10 is.

Hi Pizzafoundry,
WELCOME! to the forum.!
Good luck as you continue CPAP therapy, it sounds like you need to get a new mask, they don't last very long.
Hang in there for more responses to your post.
