You can turn off reminders by going into "My Setup". In one of the screens in My Setup, it has a default reminder box. When you highlight this box, by pushing in the righthand knob on the front of your machine, it allows you to choose to either keep the default reminders on or turn them off (turn the knob either clockwise or counterclockwise to select off, then push the knob in to save your choice. This can be changed at any time).
