[Health] Risking surgery with General Anesthetic

RE: Risking surgery with General Anesthetic
I think they tell you to bring it in case you have to stay.
Sometimes things happen and you might have to stay in hospital over night.

RE: Risking surgery with General Anesthetic
Multiple surgeries here. Most were done and home the next day. The others were overnight or longer. I always take my machine. I always make sure the anesthesiologist knows I have OSA. They typically do not put the CPAP on me while in the recovery room, which they always regret because my snoring keeps everyone awake. When I had to stay inpatient, I kept it on all the time because sleep would sneak up and knock me out without warning.

if someone goes with you, teach them how to attach and use the machine. I don't think I would ever want to use a hospital's unit. Ew.
