Switching tubing for Dreamstation

Switching tubing for Dreamstation
I use Dreamstation with a humidifier and I’ve just bought a heated tube. I would like to use it in winter and switch back to the standard 22m tube in summer. But the manual says: “when using Heated Tubing, the device will automatically change this setting to the appropriate type and you will not be able to change it.” Does this mean that I will not be able to switch back to other types of tubes or does it only mean that I will not be able to change settings while the heated tube is connected? Any advice would be appreciated.

I'm quite sure it just means that when the heated hose is connected, the machine has sensed its connection and automatically made settings for control of the heated hose available, that's it. You can switch heated to non-heated as often as you want.
