OR there is this simple fix:
For CPAP ESPECIALLY Phillips Dreamstation owners: OMG At last replacement chambers: WITHOUT AND with FOAM: https://www.amazon.com/Assemb.../dp/B09M...ref=sr_1_6...
Filter Assembly for Dreamstaion, Empty Plastic Housing/Air Chamber,Without The Foam.

".. Filter Assembly for Dreamstaion, Empty Plastic Housing/Air Chamber,Without The Foam "

If that was a genuine philips airbox without the foam, then it would be a good solution and quick swap.

If it's some asian knock-off capitalizing on the high demand, then I'd be quite apprehensive on what type of plastic it is (frying pan into the fire). Also, is it mechanically suitable ?  There is a high velocity gap in the middle of the airbox where two sensors measure air parameters. If this gap is incorrectly created, the sensors would report incorrect parameters to the circuit board.

DaveCar, It would not surprise me to learn that it is the same manufacturer making the part without the foam. Philips likely outsources that component.  I think the ad claims that it is the same material, but there are a number of grammatical errors that show the source is Asian.

RE: The DreamStation Foam Removal Thread
It seems to fit 100%correctly, and there is NO smell, in fact I can smell a faint Oder of plastic from the old original chamber.

I am a super sniffer, I can detect pasteurized milk three days before it spoils.

I installed it and will sleep to night with it.

I will report on it tomorrow.

Personally I know there is NO way to be 100% clean on anything and everything.

We live in a world full of chemicals and our homes are full of them as well.

I do not fear this chamber. A brand new machine has a very strong smell of plastic.

My ResMed F20 foam masks stink when taken out of the package, I allow them a day in the open before using them.

Life is full of risks.

Thanks everyone. My plastic chamber without foam is scheduled to arrive tomorrow. It may be a couple of days before I get it installed, but I will be interested to see how it is working out. I had similar thoughts that it may be a spinoff Asian seller who is selling the same chamber made for Philips.

It looks 100% accurate copy, less glue at the seams.

But it is made slightly different, lacks some markings and mold marks and is slightly more white/milky that the Phillips unit.

There is also an updated video showing the Drain Weasel method on a Dreamstation Go..

https://youtu.be/JKNv1IvC18c

Great detailed instructions. I bought a Drain Weasel this morning and I just finished removing my foam. Foam came out in 1 piece except for 2 little specs, and does feel a bit gummy, like it had begun to deteriorate. Only bit of advice: remove the air filter before starting. Reinstalling the motor housing was a challenge until I noticed it was getting hung up on the filter.

I had been using my old defoamed System One, but missed using the Go, although I did still use it while traveling. Now I can ditch the inline filter and go back to using my humidifier for the winter.
