Reminds me of an older machine I had years ago with a 'ramp' setting of 30 minutes (which I hated) - so I would always turn on my CPAP 20-40 minutes before going to sleep...

Hi, welcome to the forum. I also started with a FFM. When I switched to a nasal mask I also felt like I was not getting enough air. When I put my mask on and prepare to fall asleep I take a few breaths in and out of my mouth. This makes sure I feel comfortable to fall asleep. I have nether used nasal pillows or prongs.
