Traveling - use AIRSENSE with RESMED N30 nasal mask - forgot vented elbow!!
Hello all,
I use AIRSENSE 10 with RESMED N30 nasal pillow mask.
I am travelling for 10 days (normallly I live in California but have travelled outside US).
When setting up CPAP for bed last night I realized that I managed to forget the vented elbow.
The mask connects directly to hose so I used that last night.
I am going to try to get an elbow but it is not easily available where I am.
Am I safe to use CPAP without vented elbow?
Will the vents on pillow itself be sufficient to prevent C02 issues etc?
Am I better off using CPAP without elbow than not using CPAP at all?
I would appreciate any advice anyone can offer.
