[CPAP] Help Needed with Removing Mask

Help Needed with Removing Mask
After the first 2 months of being able to use my machine all night, I suddenly started taking it off in my sleep - almost always just before the 2 hour mark. We've tried tweaking pressures/settings, new masks, nothing seems to help except sedating myself with medications, which can sometimes get me to the four-hour mark.

Needless to say it's incredibly frustrating so I got an SD card and am hoping OSCAR might have some clues about what is happening leading up to my removing the mask. I'm attaching OSCAR screenshots in this post for one recent night where I removed the mask twice and will include a couple other examples in follow-up post. There does seem to be a certain odd shape to the Flow Rate pattern before I remove the mask in several cases but I have no idea what it could mean if anything.

I'd really appreciate thoughts from anyone familiar with OSCAR analysis. Thank you!

EDIT: Seems like I can't post additional pictures in replies, if there is a way to share examples from two other nights in this thread, please let me know. Sorry I wasn't able to find in a quick search of FAQs

RE: Help Needed with Removing Mask
Welcome to the forums Pitufordrmdo, with a click glance at the charts I can see that you need to raise your min pressure to at least 7-8cm (so that you're not air starved) as you're running EPR at 3. Please raise the min try it for a night or two and repost the charts. Smile

RE: Help Needed with Removing Mask
What happens frequently, even with myself with starting out, pressures were too low or some other disrupting thing, and the reaction is remove this foreign thing called a mask. It becomes a bad habit that needs broken. As mentioned, your pressure is a bit low.

If you tend to go to bed at the same time, the possibility is you're going into a certain sleep stage and something in the therapy changes, setting up discomfort and a mask removal. In theory anyway.

You might be forced to take drastic measures, even to taping the mask to your face, not for a sealing action, but to cause resistance of mask removal, triggering a wake up.
