That seems like a mfg's defect. Perhaps you could ask the vendor.

I've gotten away with about a month and a half so far on the same cushion (medium size). There are a couple of depressions which have formed in the memory foam but so far the seal seems to be good. I tried a new one but a split formed (in the underside of the memory foam where the bridge of the nose would contact) after one night. So I'm sticking with the original for now. I'm paying for the cushions out of pocket and they are about $50 cdn right now online.

50 canadian is a good price----  like about 38-40 us.  Is it a main-line company selling them below 40 us??
I am trying to think of a way to use a foam liner (perhaps without glue) to extend the life of the cushion when it rips just slightly at the top.  The idea is to use a foam liner the way remzz does with fabric ---has anyone thought of this and tried it out?

Yes, snorin2, it is a mainline vendor but not on the list so I can't point you to the specific company...

You can post the main name. Just do not include the domain suffix, (e.g: .com, .tv, .biz). You can say something like, "Fred'sCPAPandSepticTankService".

I get 60 days and probably more.  I do not track it that closely.  I just change it when the seal starts to get worse.   As I mentioned elsewhere, I do tape my mouth even though it is a full face mask.  It holds the tape in place.  It prevents oral secretions from damaging the mask.  It works for me better than anything I have done previously.  One key is to keep trying until you find what works best for you.
