Vietnamese using CPAP machines for neonatal care
Tonight's PBS News Hour reported on Vietnamese doctors using home-made CPAP machines to facilitate breathing in babies with breathing difficulties. The reason for making their own is that machines from the US are too expensive.

I assume the episode is available online someplace, but I don't know where.

In Vietnam, new hospital equipment gives more infants a breath of life

Special correspondent Fred de Sam Lazaro reports from Hanoi on how these machines have brightened the prognosis for infants.
