Waking up often
Before CPAP i had mild sleep apnea with AHI of about 8. I wake up every 2-2.5 hours every night and often it takes a long time to go back to sleep. I use a Resmed Airsense 10 and Resmed Micromirage mask. Have tried cervical pillows, different machines and masks, I mouth tape, use noise canceling earbuds, chinstraps, inclined bed and pillows. I use a humidifier that comes with the Resmed Airsense 10. I have used CPAP for 6 months now. Am going to see a sleep specialist but perhaps you all can help.

RE: Waking up often
Change your EPR setting from ramp only to "Full-Time" at setting 3. You are getting flow limitations at night that can lead to respiratory effort related arousal (RERA). Even if theRERA are not flagged, they are uncomfortable and disruptive. The use of EPR will knock out the flow limits and make both inhale and exhale easier and less disruptive. This will also calm the fluctuations of pressure, another source of disruption. You will need to make this change in the clinical menu under Comfort. Give it a try and post a chart tomorrow with your observations of how it feels and affects your sleep. I'll go through your results and claim credit or make excuses...what ever the case may be.

RE: Waking up often
The full time use of EPR did cut flow limitations nicely. Your peak pressure is also slightly lower. I want to keep an eye on the OA events and may consider raising minimum pressure slightly to keep EPAP a bit above 6.0. Let's leave things alone for now and get a few more nights of feedback. If the better sleep continues, and event rate drops back, we can call this good, but it's worth watching for a trend.
