Wellue O2 Ring and OSCAR

Does anybody know if the Wellue O2 ring is compatible with OSCAR?

I got a CONTEC CMS50F and apparently, the newer firmware isn't compatible with OSCAR. Oximetry Wizard does not detect it.

OSCAR does support the importation of the Wellue/Viatom binary files, but not directly.  OSCAR will still import the files from a Contec 50, but not using the direct device import feature.  You must use the PC program to download the ".spo2" files from the CMS-50, then import them into OSCAR.

What Red said. You can still import from the file created in Contec's own software, or yes, the O2 Ring also works for importing.

I'll have to figure out how to import the files from the .spo2 to OSCAR.

I'm not sure how accurate the finger sensor will be while sleeping using the CMS-50, but it's better than nothing. I have COPD and I think my O2 levels may be dropping more than I would like during the night, so I'd like to start keeping track of it.

Just remember, the accuracy of these devices is +/- 2%. This accuracy error can cause anxiety if the value is erring on the low side.

Right. I've always calculated this in when using my pulse oximeter. But they do give a decent approximation.... I think.

For the O2 ring data:
Using the O2 Insight Pro software from their website, download the data from the ring to your PC and then select the session you want to save, then export as CSV. Then go into OSCAR and import viatom data. it can take a little hunting to find where the data file was saved, though OSCAR got pretty close the first time and remembers it in the future.

To import the CMS-50 ".spo2" file(s), you need to go to the Oximetry Wizard and select the last option, "Import from a datafile saved by another program, like SpO2Review", and then follow the directions.
