Two Lowenstein Prisma 20A Machines on OSCAR
Back problems cause me to sleep on my recliner frequently. I have a Lowenstein Prisma 20A by my bed and I am setting up a second one next to my recliner. What can I do in OSCAR to differentiate the 2 machines?

Yes! Just make sure each has its own SD card. The CPAP typically registers the SD card with its serial number. Based on previous reports here, I recommend labeling the cards so they don't get inserted in the wrong machine. If they are the same brand, and even better the same model, they can be used in one profile. Otherwise, you should use a separate profile for each.

Thanks. Yes, they are the same make and model. Seems much easier than I thought it would be.

Can I ask how you imported a Lowenstein into the USA? How do you connect it to the wall?

[DME Link Removed] CPAPonline is an Australian company. They supply a US compatible plug.

Looking deeper into the clinical menu there are two options: "Restore Factory Settings" and "Delete Therapy Data" I'm guessing that removing therapy data will accomplish what I want to do.

RE: Two Lowenstein Prisma 20A Machines on OSCAR
My answer is based on the Resmed options, because I don't have access to a Prisma's manual. The Resmed has similar options, Format SD card and Factory Reset. Formatting the SD card does not remove the summary data, whereas the Factory Reset does.

RE: Two Lowenstein Prisma 20A Machines on OSCAR
Thanks very much. The remove therapy data did the trick. I labeled each of the SD cards as you suggested. Some nights I will sleep parts of the night using a bit of both machines going from the bed to the recliner. I see how easy it would be to mix up the cards if left unlabeled.

RE: Two Lowenstein Prisma 20A Machines on OSCAR
You will not be able to split the same day between multiple machines. For that scenario, you will need a profile for each machine.
