Why am I getting more leaks with the P10?

Why am I getting more leaks with the P10?
I switched from a phillips dreamwisp to a p10 as the phillips was affecting my nose bridge. I now have a very unsightly mark on my nose. I feel like its permanent. But anway...

With the phillips I didnt have much leaks but with the p10 I do. I tried large size. Then I tried medium with a chin strap.

I've attached a screenshot of a previous night with the phillips (Fri oct 25th)

First night with p10 using large (Tue Oct 29th)

and the night of nov 3rd night with the medium and chin strap.

I suspect I'm breathing through my mouth, hence the chin strap. I'm not sure why thought because I don't think I was breathing through my mouth with the phillips. I'm not sure how tight it should be? I'm still able to open my mouth with it on. Should this be possible or do I need it tighter?

And I still am not waking up feeling rested Sad

Try setting "mask type" to "pillows". The P10 are nasal pillows, not a nasal mask like the dreamwisp. Other than that, there are subtle differences between them.

Chinstraps may create more issues than they solve. Skip the chinstrap and try mouth tape or a soft cervical collar, they would be a better choice.

Thanks. I'll make that change. Regarding the mouth tape, would something like this work ? I did feel a bit iffy about the chinstrap so last night I used medium pillows + no chinstrap. Results

As to that tape, since your leaks are still very low, it should work. Frankly, with leaks as low as yours I would not bother with tape at all. Sleeprider once said that if leaks are below 5.0 they are too low to worry about. Your highest one was 0.53.

Ok I was originally looking at the Upper Limit red line in the Oscar results and assumed that once it's close to or over than line, it's bad. But based on your response I just noticed the Large Leak .53%

Yeah, if you were above the red line a lot it would be bad, but that's not the case for you.  Lucky you!   Smile   I have to use wide tape cut long.
