Blocked tubing

Blocked tubing
I have been using bipap for about 2 years.  I use a Resmed Aircurve 10, no digital connection, SD card only for data recording.
It worked for nearly a year and suddenly it started reporting blocked tubing and shutting down.  It also developed a strange habit of not reporting all sleep data, i.e., I might go to sleep from 10 to 6, but on occasions it might say I slept from 10 to 3, ending it's data recording.  When I wake up the machine is still running, not like the shutdown with the blocked tubing issue. I decided to buy a backup, identical.  It worked perfectly for nearly a year and then started doing the same thing.

The first one was sent to Resmed, they changed the pcb, mortor and a few other goodies.  Used it a few months and then it started acting like it had before I'd sent it in.

I use climate line tubing and F20 full face mask.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you very much

Bill

RE: Blocked tubing
How's the filter looking - full of dust or pet hair?
Maybe live in an area prone to mains power brown-out or temp blackout.
Tube kinking or being crushed
Water from humidifier maybe getting into machines electronics!
If you post an OSCAR chart, maybe someone can tell if the machine is stopping and restarting.

Here's a couple of links on the issue - not necessarily any immediate answers though...

RE: Blocked tubing
Thank you for your reply. I've checked all you've mentioned. Just for fun I'll put a multi-meter w/ data logger on it and see if I am getting power hits. I doubt it because sometimes I've had 5 shutdowns in one night and all the clocks are still working. I'm very surprised at my situation as I can find almost nothing on the net yet it's happening to 2 different machines I'm using. I use Resmed climate tubing and it's almost impossible to kink it enough to stop air flow. The other issue that I find mysterious and frustrating is the random cessation of data being sent to the SD card. All most perplexing for sure.
