cleaning six foot hose
I haven't cleaned the six foot hose and I have a question about it. Obviously one end plugs into the machine. Do I wash the hose with the plug end still on? I've tried to detach it but I can't budge it. I would assume I can't get the plug end wet, right?

RE: cleaning six foot hose
Theres two pressure points you squeeze at the end of the hose to get it off. You can soak the whole hose it won't hurt it. Just make sure it's dry before connecting it again.

Ditto Walla Walla's info. I've cleaned my heated hose a few times, fully immersed, in warm water and Dawn soap. Allow to air dry several hours before use.

I looked at my wife's S9 heated hose and assume it is the same or similar. You have to unscrew the hose about one quarter turn before it will unlock and come off. Based on what the S9 hose looks like I would suggest it is designed to be immersed in water for cleaning. I don't see any way of disconnecting the hose from the fitting.

The AirSense 10 ClimateLineAir is different from the S9 ClimateLine. You are correct in how to disconnect the hose from the S9. That was my old CPAP before it died a slow painful death. Now I use the Airsense 10 like larryslade66. To remove that hose there are two pressure points that lock the hose into the CPAP. To remove the hose just press in on both pressure points and pull the hose straight back. It is fine with submerging the entire hose in water and mild dishwasher detergent. Just make sure you hang the hose to dry for several hours before installing it back on your CPAP.

I remove the hose from the machine, and take it into the shower. I hold one end up to the shower head, and just rinse it out.
