RE: Not Restful Sleep
Dodger, events are mostly resolved. We need to get in closer to the respiratory flow to see what is going on. Please zoom in to about a 2-minute zoom level and post some charts that show the respiratory flow shape.
RE: Not Restful Sleep
Wow, I've tried to read how to do this but can't find it.

Dreamstation autobipap settings
i want to use this feature. Do I leave the settings factory set? Will they provide pressure as needed between those settings?
The default settings for DreamStation Auto BiPAP are as follows:
- IPAP: 25 CM H2O
- EPAP: 4 CM H2O
- PS Min: 2
- PS Max 8
- Bi-Flex: On 2
RE: dodger6768 - Therapy Thread
dodger6768 - I have merged your 2 threads that relate to your CPAP journey. It makes it easier for those that offer advice to see your history in one thread. To provide a more inclusive title, I have renamed it to "
dodger6768 - Therapy Thread".
Going forward, please use this thread to post your therapy related questions and OSCAR charts.
Thanks!

Anyone have any ideas on high PB and CA?
RE: dodger6768 - Therapy Thread
You did better with EPAP min 8, EPAP max 11.0, PS min 3.0, PS max 4.0, IPAP max 15.
I don't know why you are using a Philips BiPAP Auto, but is there any way you can get a Resmed? The Dreamstations are all recalled and have never been very good. Machine and settings aside, you appear to have some positional issues as apnea have tended to be in clusters. Many members have improved their results by reading the Positional Apnea article and discussing what might be contributing to chin-tucking.

RE: dodger6768 - Therapy Thread
You think the clusters of PB, CA, and PP are likely due to positional apnea?
RE: dodger6768 - Therapy Thread
I think there may be positional apnea present, but I also think the Philips device you are using is very less capable of helping you get your best results.

Thanks! I'm due for a new machine in March. I'll find out if the Doc will prescribe a Aircurve 10. If so, I'll buy another now.
