RE: Accumulation of mucus causes arousals?
Well, that certainly was true for me. I don't have throat mucus ever since I had my septoplasty, though. I had post nasal drip, and it would make me cough.

I used to keep Chloraseptic spray right next to my bed. I would quickly spritz my throat if a cough came on, while I was still half asleep. You can also use a Neilmed rinse before you go to bed, and see if that helps.

I also find I get mucus if my humidity is set too high for me, or if it's too warm. I've experimented quite a bit with that.

Aaaand....get an ENT consultation.

RE: Clarify/ Increasing Epap for snoring /arousal ?
Just so you know, using the trigger setting on your AirCurve will help centrals a lot.  Setting to high or very high has taken away all of my centrals.  If you have real large amount of centrals an aircurve is not the right machine, a ASV is the correct one.

Which has the better flow rate? Which has less arousal? Trying to optimize therapy so i don't get as many arousales even though they are not marked by the ahi number.

RE: better flow rate ?
It is a difficult question, as you have different leaks which can cause the arousals.
Would be better to compare when looking at nights with no leaks.

RE: better flow rate ?
I have no answer for you, but it will help if you change your Oscar screenshot so that we can better help you.  Remove the calendar from the left panel.  This will allow us to see more important data lower on the panel.  Show the following items in the order listed on the chart:  Event Flags, Flow Rate, Pressure, Leak Rate, and Flow Limits.  We need to see to the very bottom of the Flow Limits.  Thanks.
Machine:  ResMed AirCurve 10 Vauto
Mask:  Bleep DreamPort Sleep Solution

RE: what is this ? flow rate chart
Likely arousal breathing or you were moving around. Nothing to be concerned with there.

Thanks for explaining this, because I have a lot of flow rate charts that have blips like the one Opo posted and it's been bothering me because at a zoomed out level the flow rate chart doesn't look straight across like it's supposed to. Guess I'm just a very active sleeper.

Pulse rate and bipap data (still feel sleeply)
    Hi team here is

My pulse rate from yesterday and the OSCAR BiPAP data indicate my sleep issues. I feel sleepy and look fatigued. I've been dealing with this for about a year, and I want it to go away. I have been trying to optimize my settings for better help. Is there anything that jumps out at you? I have my head of the bed slightly inclined, and I am using an ergonomic pillow. You can see the OSCAR data here
