p123,
Are you still using your soft cervical collar?  There is a pattern of Positional Apnea, which I'm sure you're aware. Read through the link on Positional Apnea.

Be sure you are not using a pillow that's too tall.  This can cause your head to tilt forward and result in chin tucking. One thinner, but supportive pillow will help align your head and neck better.

In addition, as Sleeprider has stated, your minimum pressure is too low.  Make the pressure changes suggested.  You have nothing to lose by trying it.

Also, your Flex setting is on 3.  Either turn it off or set it to 1.

Heres the latest. First half of night with a cervical collar, 2nd part without.
Trying to see if it makes any difference?

Also, why did pressure go to 16 in 1st part but then not rise over 13?

AHI is getting better I suppose. (65 for sleep test).

Going to see sleep consultant tomorrow to see what he says..... I guess I should take report I've already got with me?
These OSCAR graphs too?

During the first half of the night, the algorithm is "trying" to react to the "Clumps" of Obstructives, and attempting to clear the apnea, but is unable.  There is no pressure that can blast through Positional Apnea.

During the second part of the night, the algorithm will NOT raise the pressure due to the detection of Clear Airway events, so the pressure stayed lower as the Cpap cannot treat CA's.

Re-read through these links. Be sure your collar fits properly. Also, note your sleeping position and pillow height.

You experienced Positional Apnea "all" night. "Clumps" of Apnea = Positional Apnea/Chin Tucking.

My response was based on your question.... "Also, why did pressure go to 16 in 1st part but then not rise over 13?"

OK - many thanks for the response..... I get it a bit more now.

So would there be any reason why I got those CA events in the 2nd half?

Sorry for the questions - its all hard to understand....

I wouldn't give the CA's a second thought, as you normally don't show CA's on the charts you've posted.

Work on the collar fit, sleeping position and use a flatter pillow.
