The important question is how did you Feel?

Your AHI is much improved. Your Respiration Rate is a bit higher than previous, Tidal Volume is up.

There are some clustering of events to suggest possible Positional Apnea "Chin Tuck". It takes time keep working on it.

Your Beer evidently caught up with you at ~0610   Too-funny

Over all, it appears you slept better.

Most adults do not feel comfortable with less than 7 or 8 cmH2O of Pressure Minimum. I did note your Tidal Flow (lower than I expected) and Respiration Rate (slightly higher than normal) from your first post and thought you might be slender or slight in size. 

You did not approach your upper Pressure Max. However your Variable Breathing (VB) will halt an increase in corrective pressure if pressure was climbing and or if pressure was declining will drive it down. (my understanding from the original DreamStation)

Your "Rapport de polygraphie ventilatoire" might be important for learning more about the Variable Breathing (VB).

Let your pressure settings stay the same for another day or two. Then you can try a little higher Pressure Minimum, if you would like to experiment.

Above your Orange AHI banner, go into the "Events Tab" and open the events listed and start clicking on the time of the events. Look at the difference in the wave shapes for each of the events CA, OA, H, FL, RE & VB.

Then review the information provided in Positional Apnea, read all the way down to see the different wave shapes for different Events. How do your wave shapes compare to "Text Book" wave shapes?

A little weekend homework assignment will do well as penance, for that celebratory beer.   Dielaughing

Indeed, mandatory bathroom break at 6:10 AM !

On the contrary, I'm actually 'stocky' since I weigh 100kg and am 1.74m tall... This overweight also leads to apnea according to the Doc (which in turn leads to weight gain, from what he explained... an endless cycle).

I'll compare all this and see what I can improve.

It is common for people to start to feel better on CPAP and have the energy to become more active and therefore loose weight.

I encourage  people to utilize the "Notes Tab" to keep track of changes in therapy, How effective they feel the therapy is, anything that may affect the quality of sleep they may get, medications, pillow, SCC, bedding change, room temperature, Late dinners, any sleep aids you may take like herbal teas. Even celebratory Beers. Also if you feel sluggish, fatigued, or energized in throughout the day. Many months to years later, that information may become useful.

The Notes Tab also has a slider to record how you feel after the nights sleep, and weight. They will be recorded at the bottom of the "Overview Tab"

If you happen to feel the need for a nap during the day do utilize the CPAP machine, You should know how to turn off the Sessions you do not want to display in the OSCAR Report you post.

By all means try to make this an enjoyable journey.

Hi, 

Here's a quick update after a few days of using it in a calm environment. I feel like things are gradually getting better, although they are not perfect yet.

I sleep much better, which is the main thing... And most importantly, I "almost" feel like going to sleep at night because I know I'll finally get some rest... Amusing detail, I have started dreaming again :-D

I think there are far fewer hypopnea clusters, and I'm able to stay in place at night and not curl up, allowing for an open airway :-D

I have an appointment next week with the sleep specialist, and I suppose he will suggest slightly adjusting the settings... We'll see.

   I believe your ability to enhance your therapy, will be improved with attention to reducing your leak rate.  

   Cleanliness results in AHI Reduction in many cases. Please clean your equipment especially your mask.

   Tighter is not always better, when it comes to Mask Seal.

    We would appreciate any input your therapist can provide, please do keep that appointment and keep us informed of all recommendations

   I would like you to know that Philips Respironics, & their PAP equipment is no longer for sale in the United States of America. 

    Therefore they will be dumping offering their equipment and "recalled/refurbished equipment" for a much reduced price in Europe and Asia.   

   When you are talking to your therapists, please ask about "Lowenstein" and  "ResMed" equipment as an alternative to "Philips Respironics" *PAP Equipment.
