Newbie with a few questions

RE: Newbie with a few questions
That works but we need to see the pressure chat too.   You can grab the bottom line of any chart and move it up a bit to make more room.

my GUESS would be about 8 min based on this info, the pressure chart would clarify that.

RE: Newbie with a few questions
Here is your image.  We need to see the pressure instead of Resp Rate or AHI on the charts to see what is going on.  Events, Flow Rate, Pressure, Leaks are the key parameters.  Overall, not a bad chart for starting out.  There are some indications of obstruction, so it would help to see why those ocurred by seeing the pressure.  Based on this, I'd take minimum pressure to 7.5 or 8.0 and see if things level out a bit.  Very good on leaks and pretty much everything else looks good.

RE: Newbie with a few questions
Thanks for the responses. I will try to post another tonight, with the pressures included.
The reason I omitted the pressure was because in this article "Posting an Image in 5 Easy Steps" Step 1.B.2 it said to turn off Mask Pressure* (Toggle is in the lower-right drop-box)
*(Unless requested by a forum member.). I didn't see a Mask Pressure there but did see a pressure. I thought it was strange but turned it off. I will include in any future posts.

RE: Newbie with a few questions
We don't necessarily need to see the mask pressure, only the "pressure" graph.

You can leave the AHI and respiratory graphs off.

Otherwise, good job on posting the screenshot!

Agree, that your minimum pressure needs to be around 8cm.

With all respect to the 5 easy steps for posting an image, the first two links in my signature result in much better images. Create an account on Imgur, select the image you want, then using the huge thumbnail option, just copy the BBcode option. The result is like this

RE: Newbie with a few questions
I was able to get my DME to bump my pressure to 8 a couple of days ago and my numbers are looking better.
Day 1
AHI - 2.4
OA - 1
H - 14

Day 2 - a bit of alcohol involved so surprised at low numbers and might be reason for OA and CA
AHI - 1.2
CA - 2
OA - 2
H - 4

I will try to post some newer sleepyhead data when I get a chance.

Thanks

RE: Newbie with a few questions
Looks much better, and your previous charts looked like 8 would be a good minimum pressure. The Philips Dreamstation Auto needs an optimized minimum pressure, or it tends to drop pressure below the ideal resulting in considerable hypopnea and some OA, pretty much as we saw from your chart.
