what kind of Lowenstein machines are supported by OSCAR?
Hello everybody. I have Lowenstein prisma smart plus and I can not make OSCAR work, so I use prisma TS software .

I might get another Lowenstein machine in future so I rather pick the model that is compatible with OSCAR.

I see that Prisma smart max is supported(there is new thread by ApnoeHero, I can not post link as low post member)

So if anybody has a list of supported models please let me know.

Here is the list of Oscar supported machines http://www.apneaboard.com/wiki/index.php...d_machines If the pages are not translated to your language, you might want to volunteer as a translator for the Oscar Help Files.

RE: what kind of Lowenstein machines are supported by OSCAR?
Hi there.  I am going to start a trial soon so I'm using an Android sleep app (with two SPO devices) to get a baseline.

I have exported my data using Python and pandas.  (I work in the Big data, data engineering / analysis space)

Sliced and diced the data into spreadsheets by day, by metric and daily summary pages.   I am interested in the Prisma 20 a and just wrote to them to inquire about exporting and accessing data from the machine without sharing on any cloud.  Perhaps I will be able to contribute to your work?

Can you share whatever you know about cracking open Lowenstein data please?  Perhaps share a sample file?  Is there some ICD available?

Please reply by direct email if possible.

Would you be one of the SleepHQ guys?

There is another forum/site in Australia, Sleep HQ, which has just recently begun to support the entire PRISMA line I believe. You have to purchase A pro membership to access it but I have found it pays for itself 10 fold. I just saved a grand on one machine and a mask, and there have been many such deals arranged by the HQ team for it's members. They have also done so much to empower people, and stand up for better service from the entire medical CPAP industry that I would recommend anyone like minded to at least have a look at the free site.
I was very interested in trying TS software. Does it give you detailed graphs?
I will also check Apneahero's post, thanks.

I personally would not recommend SleepHQ.  The operators of that website are corrupt to the core and not trustworthy.  That, plus they have stolen the OSCAR code and used it for personal profit.

Fixercqi, you almost sound like you work for them with all the ads on their behalf in your posts.

Use them at your own peril.  Just my opinion, of course.  But I think I'm right.   Cool

I respect your opinion sir, but I have had nothing but a good experience on the HQ site. The members all try their best to help and there are some very knowledgeable people who spend hours of their time trying to empower newcomers to take control of their therapy. In general people are not being guided through this difficult situation by the medical community and these forums become their only respite. I have found great information on Apnea board too, and generally have been treated very well. I find myself suddenly under suspicion for just trying to help a few of your members with questions they had asked. I apologise if I went about it incorrectly.
I can assure you I am not working for them. I am almost 80 years of age and can barely look after myself, let alone work for HQ.
I can't speak to the credibility of the owners of the site and would not without proof. I would be willing to accept your opinion of them should you be able to give me some proof. Otherwise I will retire from this site at this point as I don't want to waste any more time defending myself.

Sounds good to me.  When EVERY single post is an advertisement for SleepHQ, yeah, of course I suspect you.    Dont-know
