RE: A little confused.
On a side note, the Sleep Doctor website where I saw the article that started this discussion used to be Singular Sleep where I got my home sleep study. I've always said I thought they might be a little shady and now seeing they've changed names for some reason doesn't help with my thinking that.

No.
The VAuto has no backup rate like the "ST" and the "ST" has no auto adjust feature like the VAuto.
