If you have more CA's than OA's but your AHI is below 5, I doubt your doctor would be interested in adjusting your pressure. The usual remedy is to lower the pressure a bit, but that can cause your OA and hypopnea indices to increase, which would raise your AHI.

If I were you I'd discuss the situation with your doctor.

Which S9 do you have? Is it the autoset or the elite?

I have S9 elite. Does autoset compared to a set pressure make results different? How?

The autoset might help you find the right pressure setting for you, but it may be better to have it done manually. The autoset can also vary your pressure throughout the night, something that may be beneficial as well.

What pressure is your machine set to now?

RE: Advice for a newbie
HI Yellow,
I was off work for 6 weeks, and sleeping probably 15 hours per 24 hour period, just to function before I was diagnosed. It took me 4 weeks to sart treatment - test, test, results, ,before I started treatment, then I rented a machine for 4 weeks, and got my own last week.
I am only 5 weeks of treatment in, and to be honest, I thought at first it was a wonder pill - use it one night and all your troubles will be over, but that is not the case.
As many have said above, each person is different, and treatment will take a different time for each - I am just beginning to see the light at the end of the tunnel, but returned to work within 3 days of starting treatment.
Keep at it, and Im sure the benefits will be there for you.
