The airmini is rated for 15 watts ..
The AS-11 is rated 65 watts, But that is with a tank heater and heated tube ..
The AS-11 uses the same motor/turbine as the airmini .. You turn off the
the tank heater and tube heat Your back to 15 to 18 watts .. It is also quiet
rated at about 28 decibles .. Uses an SD card and has passive humidity
by filling the water tank with the heater turned off .. You can find a dc to
dc power cord on the internet ..
Best of Luck with Your decision ..
Steve
Air-mini power supply says it outputs 0.83A @ 24V. Round that to 1 for easy math. Then decide how low to run the Lion battery down. To 0 is 24 hours based on 1 amp per hour. Probably not good to take to 0 regularly, it's probably auto-off though and will stop at a safe level.
foss I use an AS 11 it is quiet .. I carry it when I travel ..
If You don't want to take the water tank there is a bi-pass
cover to replace it .. I don't remember which supplier had
it but they were on the supplier list ..
Good Luck .. Steve

RE: AirMini Power Consumption for Emergency Use
Thank you. I am due for an upgrade. I received my A10 Autoset in June 2015 It was a great suggestion to go with the A11 as opposed to the Mini. Same power consumption curve and in the larger format.

The AS 11 can also use a SD Card .. From what I understand the Airmini can't ..
No OSCAR use and compliance proof is a bother .. Especially for tech challenged
folks like Me ..
