I'm in the U.S. and was just set up with a new machine/mask etc... and was told my machine would be an Airsense 10. But this being my first rodeo with CPAP I didn't realize there were more than just 1 type of Airsense 10 machine.
When registering with the myAir app - I had to put in all the numbers on the back. Learned the machine was made in Singapore. When I checked my profile there it said Airsense 10 Respond.
I do not have Oscar yet and am wondering will it work???
Secondly the nurse who came and set me up said it will be able to be set to an Auto mode of between 4-10 for me once my doc okays it. Right now it is set at 7. Is this machine able to be put in the auto mode?

I did some research on the internet and found that little is known about the Respond model. If it were me, I would ask for a ResMed Airsense 10 Autoset machine, and not settle for this obscure, little-known model. You don't have to keep it. They can get you the correct model. I would insist on it. If your present DME will not cooperate, go to another one. You don't have to stay with them.

Thank you for the picture, I looked at mine in the same spot and it says AirSense 10 and Autoset under it like yours does!
So here is where it gets strange and where the "Respond" piece came into play is that when I entered the numbers on the back on myAir, the Machine it says I have in my profile is AirSense 10 Respond!

MyAir as well shows 'AirSense 10 Respond' for my 'Air Sense 10 Autoset'. MyAir has always had the correct data so I never got too concerned about what they called it. Perhaps just a generic name for the Air Sense product line(?)
I dunno that's why I am putting this out to everyone. I am thinking it has more to do with country of manufacture? Where was yours made? (Look on the back label).
More importantly StratCat - are you able to access Oscar???. I will have time later today/tomorrow a.m. to see if I can.

I'm in the US, AS10 Autoset made in Singapore, works fine with OSCAR, and calls home (MyAir) reliably. You shouldn't have any worries about the name 'Respond'. Honestly I did try to find out why the name Respond was on MyAir when I first made the account, but came up with nothing.

RE: Airsense 10 Respond Questions
Thanks so much StratCat for the 411 on your take on this - I've had my machine 3 days and didn't want to get into it with my DME Supplier if I didn't need to. They are super good to work with and the nurse is quite good too.
Tonight sometime I will get onboard with Oscar and see how it goes.

I'm curious how OSCAR lists this machine. Post a chart after your first night of data, and be sure you have an SD card inserted while sleeping, or you will only see summary data.
