Anecdotal, perhaps but...

RE: Apria switched CPAP
I would love to know what happened with your situation. That exact same thing happend to me. Apria had me sign a SSRA agreement for a Resmed Airsense 10 but they sent me a Luna G3. I have talked to the therapist at my local office several times. He says he has elevated my complaint to his manager and the "logistics manager", whatever that is.
The therapist agrees that the company should replace the Luna with the Airsense. He said most therapist say the Luna should be used as a doorstop. And Apria purchased a lot of the Lunas and are doing this bait and switch on many of their customers. I am not familiar with the Luna but what I have found has shown bad reviews and it is much less expensive than the Airsense 10. I haven't had a response from the manager or anyone else from Apria. I'm wondering if it will help to contact Medicare. They have already paid Apria but I can't tell if the claim they submitted states what machine they were sending me. Of course, Medicare paid no where near what Apria showed on the agreement. Apria listed the machine, heated tubing and humidifer separately for a total of $1896 but they sell the entire package on their website to their uninsured customers for $960.

RE: Apria switched CPAP
We haven't heard back from Elton since this was posted 1/22/24. Since that member has not logged on since posting this issue, I'll assume we can no longer help. Other members should return or reject any device that does not meet expectations. The Chinese PAP devices are all under Emergency Use Authorizations, and should be rejected. I'm gong to close this thread to more replies since the original poster is no longer participating.
